Lincoln in World War 1

The story of Lincoln’s contribution to the First World War will be told through words, film, and contemporary images, including the invention of the tank and aircraft production. On display will be an exhibition of memorabilia collected by Friends of The Lincoln Tank. Lincoln Drill Hall will also tell of the building’s own role in the war and the broader context of equipping the army. A film of the ‘Green Fields Beyond’ tank drama performed in Lincoln Castle grounds in July 2016 will be shown and some of its props exhibited. Tickets: £10. Bookings: 01522 873894.
