An audience with Father Christmas

Experience the magic of Christmas at Lincoln Castle by joining Father Christmas in the Victorian setting of the Bath House at the Castle. Sit back and listen to stories of Christmases from the past and enjoy finding out more about Father Christmas himself.  Every child will receive a Victorian style gift and have the opportunity to share their Christmas wishes. Places are limited so please book your place in advance to avoid disappointment.

Peter Pan

Jamie Marcus Productions in association with Lincoln Drill Hall is delighted to announce their 2018 panto ‘Peter Pan’. Following 2017’s record breaking 10th anniversary panto ‘Jack and the Beanstalk,’ the team will return with the classic magical tale of the boy who never grew up. Back by popular demand is everyone’s favourite Dame, James Campbell, and with colourful costumes, amazing sets and effects, hilarious song and dance routines, plus more jokes than all the treasure in Captain Hook’s hold, this is one madcap adventure your family won’t want to miss. Christmas Emporium

Eight evenings of Christmas delights in within the medieval walls of Lincoln Castle for a festive celebration of arts, crafts, and food – the perfect setting to meet friends and family over the Christmas period. A spectacular Victorian inspired Light Show will form the centre of the Christmas Emporium with an extraordinary illumination and soundtrack filling each evening with a sprinkling of Christmas magic. The medieval wall walk will remain open each evening for truly spectacular evening views over the City. Plus Father Christmas will be in attendance looking forward to receiving your Christmas wishes in a twilight experience designed to entertain visitors of all ages. Rapunzel

A magical musical play adapted from the original fairy tale at Lincoln Peforming Arts Centre – a festive treat for the whole family. Once upon a time, in a far off kingdom, a bargain is struck and a young girl is taken from her parents. Locked away from the world “to keep her safe”, the young Rapunzel grows up dreaming of adventures and life outside of her lonely room at the top of a tall tower. Chapterhouse Theatre: A Christmas Carol 18.30

On Christmas Eve, the most magical night of the year, the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge is whisked away on a journey through the past and into the future, accompanied by three fearsome ghosts determined to show him the true meaning of Christmas.
